Rat signs up to the first ever live performance of
Madame Chao's Chaorin Kombat noise
tournament.  The challengers are welcome to bring
their skills to test in a 5 man battle royal where
open mic meets toughman competition meets
dwarf tossing.
 
BATTLE TO BE THE OPENING ACT
 
Chaorin Kombat rules are thuswise:

-The first 5 people to sign up for noise battle will
be entered into the competition.
-Qualification is based on attendance and ability
to produce electronic noise.
-Those who wish to participate must be able to
output sound to a mixer either with 1/4" or XLR
audio outputs.
-Contestant's noise rig must be set and ready
(able to output sound) no more than 5 minutes
from any given moment.  Failure to produce
sound 5 minutes from start time equals
immediate disqualification.    KEEP IT SIMPLE.
-Contestant's noise rig may not occupy any more
physical space than the contestant himself
(herself).  You may not back a truck up into the
space, make use of flame throwers, or feed a live
animal into a wood chipper etc.,
 
All kombatants will produce sound
simultaneously through independent channels
feed to a single mixer.  Each channel will be
monitored by a panel of judges. The weakest
kombatants will be removed one by
one until the winner emerges.
 
The winner will earn the right to be the opening act
at Cock ESP's "Back in Black and Blue" Tour

guys brought the sound I wanted to hear - - so
thanks again.

bad as you wanted to.  I tried.
